These terms cover your use of the Stepasaurus website and iPhone app. By using the services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
Stepasaurus is operated by Libertas Media LLC. These terms are between you and Libertas Media LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

The Stepasaurus experience
Stepasaurus is a walking app in which steps recorded by Apple Health support a virtual dinosaur’s care and growth. Features that rely on steps require your permission to access the relevant Health information. Counts and rewards can be affected by syncing delays, device settings, and service availability.
A missed goal does not reset accumulated growth progress. Your dinosaur still needs regular feeding, and missed meals can reduce its health. Cave Days are limited and must be activated in the app.
Stepasaurus is for entertainment and general motivation. It does not provide medical advice or prescribe an exercise program. Choose activity appropriate for you and pay attention to your surroundings while walking.
Your account
You can register with an email address and password or sign in using your Google account.
Provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your sign-in details secure. Do not use another person’s account without permission. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
You can delete your account in the app’s Settings. Deleting your account immediately removes it and its associated data from the active Stepasaurus service. See the Privacy Policy for information about provider records and backups.
If you need help accessing your account, contact hello@libertasmedia.co. We may need to verify account ownership before helping.
Subscriptions
Review the subscription details shown in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation before subscribing. Apple manages App Store billing and subscription settings. Deleting your Stepasaurus account does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through Apple.
Refund requests for App Store purchases can be submitted through Apple’s purchase support, subject to Apple’s process and your statutory rights.
Your dinosaur and coins
Coins, meals, achievements, and dinosaurs are virtual features of Stepasaurus. They do not represent real currency, property, or a financial investment.
Using Stepasaurus responsibly
Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, or use the app or website unlawfully. Do not exploit errors or manipulate data to obtain rewards improperly. These terms do not restrict activities that applicable law expressly permits.
Content and app license
The Stepasaurus name, artwork, website content, and software belong to their respective rights holders. Using the service does not transfer ownership of that material to you.
The app is licensed, not sold. Its use is also subject to the license accompanying your App Store download. Where no custom license is provided, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies. These terms supplement that license for the Stepasaurus service and website.
Your privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how information is handled in the app and on the website, including Apple Health access and your privacy choices.
Changes and service availability
Features may change as Stepasaurus develops, and maintenance or technical problems may occasionally interrupt access. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or perfectly accurate step counts.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, or legal requirements. Where practicable and legally permitted, we will provide notice and explain how to contact us about the restriction. Material service changes do not remove any refund or other remedy available under applicable law.
Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without additional warranties beyond those required by law or expressly stated in these terms. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses to the extent applicable law allows that limitation. This does not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
New York law governs these terms, except where the mandatory laws of your place of residence provide otherwise. Nothing here limits your right to bring a claim in a court or forum available to you under applicable consumer law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.

Updated terms will be posted on this page with an effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
